our work
ke comms works hard to tell your story from multiple angles - from
media relations and writing to social media and graphic design.
media relations
Earned media placements require targeted outreach, quality storytelling and timely news. ke comms will work with you to develop the necessary ingredients so ke comms staffers can make high-quality pitches to journalists. While relationships with journalists are important to get them to open the email, it’s even more important to have a good storyline with a news hook, characters/spokespeople who can speak to the cause or event, and a fascinating angle to share.
ke comms has placed stories, op-eds and contributed content with NPR, Reuters, Fast Company, Ms. Magazine, Tribal Business News, TechCrunch and numerous other local, national and international outlets.
social media
Social media campaigns focus on providing lively, engaging content to capture attention and share important information. ke comms consulting partners have led influencer marketing and social campaigns to strategically solve problems and grow audiences. Whether focusing on organic media, paid media, or wanting a mix of both, our team has the expertise to help your brand achieve your social media goals.
Gilcrease Museum social campaign #ArtistsinQuarantine on Facebook
Like much of the world, Gilcrease Museum closed its doors to the public during the COVID-19 pandemic. As this shutdown was unforeseen, the museum was facing critical revenue losses and needed to cut costs anywhere possible while still striving toward the Gilcrease mission of “bringing art, history, and people together to research, discover, enjoy and understand the diverse heritage of the Americas.”
Following an all-staff Zoom meeting, then-Communications Manager Lauren Rogers crafted the $0 budget #ArtistsInQuarantine campaign.
The campaign began March 20, 2020, and called for submissions via Facebook comments. Over several weeks, posts featuring submitted work garnered hundreds of engagements from Facebook users across the United States. The campaign was subsequently featured in the Tulsa World and USA Today, among other publications.

graphic design
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. At ke comms, we happen to love the written word but we do understand the value of imagery, graphics and websites when it comes to telling your story. ke comms consulting partners can create logos, brochures, advertisements, social media images and even swag items. Further, our consulting partners can design and build entire organizational websites to pull in more clients, donors and volunteers.
It is important to understand the client organization’s “personality,” branding goals and their target audiences in addition to the actual design needs to put together an image or full campaign of multiple, complementary designs. ke comms takes the time to get to know and understand these things before design begins.
