Fall is in the air as the State Fair and other fall festivals and activities return to Tulsa. While I am a summer gal at heart, I also enjoy the slow (sometimes too fast) turn to fall.
This month saw a bunch of wins for project-based client Jack’s Generosity, an Oklahoma-based nonprofit dedicated to providing comfort boxes to families in the NICU/PICU who are battling rare mitochondrial diseases.

Founder Kiley Proffitt appeared on News on 6 and Living Oklahoma. She was also interviewed by local station Fox 23 and stories also appeared in the Tulsa World and TulsaPeople. Kiley was promoting the nonprofit’s second-annual golf tournament to raise funds for the comfort boxes and research for the rare mitochondrial diseases.

I also had a Business Viewpoint column in the Tulsa World about the transition from journalism to public relations. Read it here.
