October started with the ke comms team gathering together at the 2024 Silver Link Awards dinner for the Tulsa area. The awards honor the best in public relations. It was great to honor the winners and meet new people and see old friends.

The month continued with several placements for clients, including an op-ed for Land Rights Defenders, a story for The InteRoots Initiative, and an op-ed by the founder of KM Strategies Group about how the upcoming presidential election could affect nonprofits in Fast Company.
While not ke comms clients directly, Kristi supported the placement of two other stories in news outlets: this story about Cherokee Nation women entrepreneurs and this story about the Opportunity Network.
Finally, Kristi wrote some stories for the University of Tulsa. Read them here and here.
