March seems to be the start of event season. The weather is starting to turn nicer, and people are ready to get out from being cooped inside all winter. There are a lot of networking and professional development events and gatherings taking place.

ke comms continued to deliver for clients, earning impactful media placements that moved the needle.

Through my partnership with Human Impact Solutions and its client Black Liberation-Indigenous Sovereignty, I placed two stories: one in the Daily Yonder and one in Tribal Business News.

Artist Carol Nussbaum’s show opened in NYC and a delightful feature on her appeared in a Substack newsletter that I placed.

The Hunger Project’s women-centered approach to eliminating hunger took center stage in this Q&A from The Good Men Project.

Oklahoma-based nonprofit Jack’s Generosity has a fundraiser coming up at the end of April in Tulsa and KJRH Channel 2 previewed it here.

Through a partnership with Resolute PR, I was able to place a Q&A about Kitchen 66 founder Elizabeth Frame Ellison as well as a feature about Kitchen 66. Kitchen 66 is a food incubator that supports local food entrepreneurs. I also placed a story in Inc. Magazine for Tulsa Innovation Labs. See that here.

Finally, for my own writing, I wrote a story for TulsaPeople (see here), contributed to a story for the New York Times (where I received a byline!), and started a Substack with colleague and friend Janet Dickerson.
