Client Wins for the Month of August 2024

It sounds a little bit like a broken record, but August was another busy month for ke comms (and also productive and exciting!)

First, we are welcoming a new consulting partner to the team. Lauren Rogers joins ke comms after stints at Tulsa Regional Tourism and Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa. Read about her background in this recent blog post and in this write-up in an industry trade publication. We are thrilled to start collaborating with Lauren!

August 9 marked International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples’ and we were proud to support the work of one of our regular clients, Land Rights Defenders, and its founder. Nana Kwesi Osei Bonsu wrote two op-eds leading up to the day and was featured in three digital stories. See a Q&A with him here

Elsewhere in the world, Bangladesh is undergoing a transformation, and ke comms client The Hunger Project and its CEO, Tim Prewitt, wrote an op-ed about the intentional work that is happening in the country and has been taking place there for decades. Read it here.

Locally, the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum is finishing up their third-annual summer vintage car campaign in which people can ride in a vintage car around Sapulpa, Oklahoma. The local NPR affiliate, KWGS, featured the vintage car rides in this story.

A new client, KM Strategies Group, and its founder, Kindred Motes, were featured in a Fast Company story about one of their campaigns, which educated the public about Project 2025.

Finally, ke comms’ founder, Kristi, was excited to be on the other side of the story. She’s featured in a Realtor.com story about being a woman SINK homeowner. (SINK stands for single income, no kids.) Read about her journey to SINK homeownership here

Woo! That’s a lot. We have much more happening this fall and we are excited to share with you as more things progress. As always, if you’re looking for public relations support for your business, campaign or organization, reach out at kristi@kecomms.com
